Following is a listing of Certificate Programs offered through the Global Harvest Bible Institute & Seminary. These Programs of Study allow the local church to offer specialized training and equipping for practical ministry. They are also available for individuals who are looking to be certified in a specific program. Guidelines for offering these programs are:
1. Each individual who is not already a student of GHBIS or who has not taken a course during the last 12 months, must submit a GHBIS Registration Form along with a $35.00 one-time registration fee.
2. A student may take as many certificate tracks over the course of study as desired to equip him/her for practical ministry. For example, one set of five courses clustered together as a certificate can give added incentive for students to become more active in your ministry.
3. Courses taken toward a certificate will also apply toward earning a degree. In fact, completion of the second Certificate Program will result in the award of a one-year diploma (upon application and payment of the diploma application fee).
4. Each student must complete the designated courses online by viewing all lectures, reading the textbook and successfully completing the examination. He or she must receive a passing grade on each course and maintain a grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or higher.
5. Upon completion of the five courses in a certificate program, a Certificate Application Form must be submitted for each student who has completed the required courses. Show the name exactly as it should appear on the records processing fee for each certificate. Identify the certificate being requested. There is a $5.00 records processing fee for each certificate. A Certificate Application form is included in the Manual.
6. Students may be awarded their certificates by the pastor during a worship service or they can participate in the commencement ceremony at the Global Harvest International Fellowship annual conference. Such recognition can encourage students to activate their learning by applying it to ministry.
The following certificates are offered. Each course listed must be satisfactorily completed. No course may be used for credit toward two certificates.
